What is MCP?

The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard created by Anthropic that lets AI assistants like Claude connect directly to external tools and data sources. Instead of copy-pasting information between apps, Claude can read from and write to your tools in real time.

Each MCP server acts as a bridge between Claude and a specific service. When you connect a server, Claude gains access to that service's tools — it can search your CRM, read meeting transcripts, send messages, create tasks, and more, all within the conversation.

Every server uses OAuth 2.1 with PKCE for authentication. Your credentials are stored securely per-user, and each person authorizes independently with their own API keys.

How to Connect

  1. Open Claude (claude.ai or Claude Desktop)
  2. Go to Settings → Integrations → Add custom MCP
  3. Enter the server URL (e.g. https://missive.mcp.mimeeq.com)
  4. Follow the authorization flow — enter your name, email, and the service's API key or credentials
  5. Once authorized, the server's tools appear in Claude's tool panel and can be used in any conversation
Access restricted — Only @mimeeq.com and @mimeeq.eu email addresses can authorize. Each person uses their own credentials for the upstream service.
